Spirula’s CEO, Ahmed Mekkawy, took part in CTO Connect event, organized by Startup MENA, in Alexandria on Saturday June 6, at M3mal co-working space.  The event targeted entrepreneurs and geeks, on “how to do a better job of building and managing your techie startup”, providing advice and experiences from leading CTOs. Mekkawy was a panelist in two sessions, the first one discussed product development, and the second one discussed team skills. He mainly talked about the need for CTOs to balance between their technical passion and business objectives, as to how technical operations can be managed in order to achieve business goals.
